Microneedling

A minimally invasive procedure using fine needles to trigger collagen production, improving acne scars, uneven texture, and overall skin quality.

A protocol,

not a session.

STEP 01

Your skin is cleansed thoroughly before the session begins. A numbing cream is applied and left for about 20 to 30 minutes.

STEP 02

Once the skin is prepared, the microneedling device is moved systematically across the treatment area. The depth and intensity is adjusted by your doctor based on your skin's specific concerns and tolerance.

STEP 03

A serum appropriate for your skin is applied during the procedure, taking advantage of the enhanced absorption the micro-channels provide.

STEP 04

Afterwards, your skin will look flushed and this settles over the following 24 to 48 hours.

Duration

30 to 45 min / session

A standard course is 3 to 6 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions may be recommended once the primary course is done.

Downtime

1 to 2 days

Most people experience redness and mild sensitivity for a day or two before the skin settles back to normal.

Recovery

24 to 48 hours

Most people notice initial improvements in texture and glow within a few weeks of the first session, with more visible changes in scarring and fine lines emerging progressively across the treatment course.

Before and after each session.
